Amy has grown her business to include various services such as, manicures, pedicures, permanent makeup, cosmetic teeth whitening, Botox, filler, facials lash extensions and all things beauty related. Always knowing where I saw my career path taking me, I have now been in the beauty industry for over 16years. I specialize in manicures and pedicures. My goal is to make every client feel special. Hey, I’m Jenna! I have been a Registered Practical Nurse for over 3.5 years now, and have the amazing opportunity to run my business Rural Beauty here out of Beauty Basics. At this time, Rural Beauty specializes in neurotoxin treatments, microneedling and Vitamin B12 wellness injections. I love that I also have the opportunity to perform other services through Beauty Basics, such as brows, lash lifts + tints, and now facials! My favourite thing about this industry is there’s always something new to learn, whether it be as a Nurse Injector or esthetician. What better way to learn than to do it with a team that is always encouraging & uplifting, and with lovely clients who are just as supportive!

My husband and I have 2 daughters full of life that are watching my every move, which is why it’s so important to me that I enjoy what I do everyday. Rebecca is one of our aestheticians here at Beauty Basics. Rebecca is the one working morning/ noon & night making sure that you get in for your desired appointment. We have looked for her off switch but we have yet to find it! If she’s not working 24/7 at the salon, you can find her running around for her 3 kids and family. Rebecca is a very special addition to the BB family and we are so lucky to have her.
Ashley has been apart of the Beauty Basics team since 2020 offering eyelash extensions. Outside of the salon Ashley is a single mom of 2 who also works at our local Haliburton medical centre as team support. Ashley spends her down time with her family & friends. We are so lucky to be able to offer her services here in Minden!
Jessie moved to Minden in 2020 with her family when her husband got transferred for work. In 2023 she left her corporate job to pursue her passions and spend more time with her husband and two sons. When she’s not at Beauty Basics doing Reiki or Ion Detox Foot baths you can find her on her little homestead, growing food, and raising her two wild boys. We have loved having Jessie apart of our team and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

Brenda joined the BB team in June 2023.As a retired RMT, she has over 25 years of experience, focusing her career in Hamilton before moving north in 2017. Outside of the salon, she designs office spaces, homeschools her 3 kids, and spends as much time with family and friends as possible. We are so thankful to have her and to be able to offer her services here in Minden.
